I bought the adapter from Drew so I can use my 510 atty on a kr808 battery and I have to say I really like this setup a lot. My kr808 batteries last a lot longer than my 510's and the extra length of the PV doesn't bother me. The adapter is about 1/2 the length of a 510 atty and of course the kr808 batteries are longer than 510's.
As far as the vaping experience goes I do not notice any decrease in vapor production, flavor or throat hit. I was worried there might be some loss of vaping quality if everything didn't fit together perfectly but it all fits and seems to work great. In fact, due to how fast my 510 batteries lose their charge I would say I get better overall performance by using the adapter and the kr808 vs using the 510 with stock batteries. It is just nice to have alternatives!
