KR808 Carts arrived today!

Well I just received my order I made with Drew last Friday night (11/6/09 - took longer than normal because of veterans day.) I attached my 510 -> KR808 adapter from altsmoke.com to my protege and just gave my first cartomizer a pull.

mmmm... Much lighter drag than my normal 510
Tasty -- wow, yes very flavorful (coffee) lots of coffee
*cough* nice throat hit
minimal vapor output compared to my 510 though

I've heard these carts put out nice vapor, but I'm not seeing it. I love everything else about it so far. Am I doing something wrong perhaps or will the vapor production boost tremendously once I fill this puppy up with HV juice?

It usually takes a few drags for the vapor to kick in. But yes, you do get better vapor once you juice them up!

Just wanted to add being the tinker that I am I decided to blow into the mouth piece end to get out all of the coffee juice and replaced it with some HV Drewbacco (Man that stuff is amazingly good). The vapor production is WAY better now, I guess the juice makes all the difference in the world

I don't get nearly the amount of vapor from my 808 that I do from my 510. Not even close, even if I fill them with HV juice.

The throat hit and flavor is good, but the vapor leaves plenty to be desired. Either way, they're convenient so I use them sometimes.

So far filled with HV I am getting great vapor, now how long it'll last is another question. I started my beer-drinking-chain-vapathon of the night at three filled with HV juice so I'll time it to see when it runs dry on me.

p.s. by beer-drinking-chain-vapathon I mean literally that. I finished my feasibility project for my management class, and I'm off of work until tomorrow at 3:00 so needless to say I'll be puffing away non-stop

So I think my first cart died... not all the way because it was still producing decent vapor, but the flavor began lacking (or my taste buds got used to it)

I do want to say these are the best things EVER! I can't believe I been fighting with those stupid 510 carts for so long. I blew out 6 so far (the coffee is great flavor, but the vapor sucks, no offense drew -- I refill them with your juice )

I have them labeled and ready to go for different occasions
1 - Sleepy time green tea for before I go to bed
1 - Pear Lung for my daily lung treatment
1 - HV Drewbacco
1 - HV RY4
2 - HV Lemon Meringue

Did I say Drew and Angie are super duper... and to think soon my xHaler will be here oh man oh man oh man!

For some reason, I seem to get good vapor with my KR808, while my friends that have tried it get like...nothing.

I think it's because I learned over the first couple days how to use it, and what works for me? I've stopped telling people to hit it like a joint, because they all end up coughing, lol. Now I tell them to draw slow and long, like they're sucking a really thick milkshake.

I do get better vapor using the HV juices, but I can still do pretty damned good with the other juices as well.

I can't wait for my new order to get here!!

I tried this method for the 1st time today with brand new blank KR808 and...wow! Not sure if HV juice will work as well though.

I actually have been just packing the carto like a can of dip, so far its been doing wonders. The HV juice isn't an issue its putting massive clouds out lately, its just the stock juice that doesn't seem to work all that great

Just filled another one with HV butterscotch. Wile flavor is good, I get little vapor. Perhaps because HV is thicker and needs either "break in" or longer soaking time.

I have HV 555 in mine right now, although I filled it a day and a half ago the vapor is fine. I do find that right when I pop the new cart on the vapor is really low but usually after about 10-15 good drags the vapor starts to pick up tremendously

When I add juices, I do it through the battery end. then I take it and actually put my mouth on it and blow into the battery end a bit. I get pretty good vapor with the HV ones.
