510 batt and atty question

I have two batts for my 510, and they both are a little different.
I would like to know if anyone knows why the difference in my batts?

Batt 1) has on the inside (where the atty attaches) a flat surface.

Batt 2) has on the inside (where the atty attaches) a raised area in the middle similar to the way an "A" battery on the + side would have, it also has a hole in the middle of the raised area, however, the hole appears to be closed.

The attys:
I have three attys for my 510, two have two holes on the side, one has only one hole on the side.

Can anyone tell me why the discrepancy with the batts, and attys?

Do I have a knockoff(s) somewhere?

If I do, then I'll know which vendor to not buy from next time.

Thanks.

The original 510 batt should be threaded/female for the threaded/male atty. Inside the female end should be a flat round gold nub, like a small gold hockey puck, raised perhaps a mm, with a small white washer around it. At least that's how all mine are. Does the 510 atty fit the other? Maybe you were sent a batt from a different PV model? What I described is a standard Joye 510 batt connector.

OTOH, and while this is unlikely, the 306 hardware is 510 compatible. Perhaps they send a 306 batt? Seems unlikely as not many vendors are stocking 306's anymore, one of the earlier models of PV.

The veterans here may have seen more than one type of 510 connector.
