Blu batteries fit the Blu PCC and Blu charger. Blu's chargers and PCC are the correct polarity, voltage and current for its own batteries. That is typical of all ecigs - the threading does not mean you can use another same-threaded ecig's charger or PCC, even if they are the same polarity. Different ecig charging cables and PCC deliver different volts and mA that are correct for the batteries they are made for.

That's it as far as I know - just Blu batteries. And no manuals. But check the Blu forum. You cannot post there yet. 2 more non-spammed posts or replies in New Members and an hour's wait.

how did you kill a battery using just Blu stuff (other than with eliquid since they are auto batteries and prone to eliquid damage).

I think Blu is L88b and I doubt a manual exists. if you get another Blu battery just be real careful with filling! No tricks to get more juice in - just looking for trouble. Do your cartos have a defined center air channel? If so, then after adding juice and making sure the threaded end is dry, stick a soft folded/crumpled bit of tissue in the open end so it is touching the stuffing, point that end down, and puff into the threaded end. It will not be the most filled carto possible but it will be less likely to leak.

See if Blu will replace the battery. Then just try to be careful until you are ready to buy something else.

On more reply and an hour's wait (at which time you will be able to post elsewhere and send PMs) and you can also check the ECF Classified section and see if anyone is selling any Blu batteries cheap. Make sure they are for the current carto model because I do not know if the old atty/cartridge model used different batteries (the Blu section of ECF would know).

Edit - I checked the Classified and see no Blu batteries for sale

And check with the Blu section of ECF re manual batteries - they would know

Reply to this then an hour later you can post in the Blu section

No - all I do is use juices with 20% or less VG in stuffing cartos and use manual batteries in case a carto does leak. And I avoid juices that leave a lot of flavoring sediment in the carto stuffing. And with Boge 510 cartos I use a plastic or delrin drip tip as a mouthpiece (not to drip into!!)

You can also use the most popular 510 cartomizer blanks - Boge 510 in standard resistance (2.8-3.2 ohm - not the LR ones - those LR ones are for big batteries 450mah+, not for slim batteries). If you can find any you can also use blank Joye 306 cartomizers which are more like Blu cartos.

yeah im blowing into the cartos now.. Im now realizing i prob shouldnt have bought a blu.. But oh well. Are there any mods i can make to the carto to get better results?

You would be much better off getting a different model altogether. Blu is considered a bottom of the pile PV (personal vaporizer).

There are many models much better than what you have. Most of us use models that at least get 5 hours on a charge and provide much warmer vapor and throat hit than the Blu.

I don't think the BLU PCC will work with any manual battery. For a start the manual switch itself would negate inserting one and even if you could, it would effectively be always on, since the switch would need to be constantly pressed to fit in the PCC. Be careful filing those cartomizers. Auto batteries really don't like getting liquid in them, as I fear you've found out.

The BLU does what it says, imitates a cig and expects you to always do what BLU cig wants which is buy their carts and their parts and effectively throw away stuff when they run out, it's expensive and when you do try your own thing, you'll likely see the short comings in the BLU more and more. My advice, and you might not like it, keep the BLU as a back up and look at a cheap eGo / Riva / 510 Titan style starter kit with manual switches. It might seem expensive (though I personally thing not myself) but it's worth it in the long run when it comes to delivery methods (cartomizers, clearomizers, tanks etc) and your own liquids without fear of wrecking a battery.

Good advice, although the only area a Blu imitates a cig is in size. It's doesn't come close in performance.

I agree that a better battery model is the way to go. But a better option than the eGo/Riva is the E-Power. The batteries only cost $4 - $5 unlike the eGo's that are close to $20 each. Plus the batteries last much longer (lifetime wise) and are non-proprietary.
