If a lot of kids start vaping, Uncle Sam will take your PV away from you, this forum will disappear and you will have to find some other place and subject to talk about.

Now that the FDA has admitted some level of defeat, and PVs will NOT be considered drug delivery devices, but yet just another tobacco product, no. It is illegal for kids to smoke/chew/snuff/snus etc., yet they do. U.S. isn't going to take our PVs away, and this forum isn't going to disappear.

You ...umed, that a 29 year old former smoker who may or may not be addicted to nicotine, but almost certainly hand-to-mouth, was just a "kid", trying to "look cool". You based your assumption on your own narrow opinion of what defines an addict - one which conveniently fits yourself, and others with the same level of addiction you have, but apparently not those that don't vape as much as you do.

No one was advocating that anyone take up vaping "for the fun of it" (though I don't see any reason an ADULT can't do just that if they so choose), and CERTAINLY no one was advocating that kids vape. Every former smoker made a dumb mistake in taking up smoking, most did it to "look cool", likely including yourself. So get down off your high horse, just because you have a stronger addiction to nicotine than others, doesn't make you special.

Thanks jlarsen! Just because I dont vape as much as this person does they think I dont need to vape!! Well I would like them to say that to my Dr. who has been prescribing and suggesting everything out there to quit. I have been cigarette free for over a month now its the longest I have been able to go with out one since I started smoking at 12yrs old! My Dr. is very proud of me even though im not nicotine free he loved it that im not smoking anymore and I get my nicotine in a much healthier way! He put in my records that I no longer smoke, now I get a discount for being a smoke free patient thru my health insurance!! But just because I wasnt a 2pack a day smoker and dont need to vape as much as others doesnt mean I am not addicted!! I would go thru a pack every other day, so I was a half a pack smoker up until 4/20/2011 had my last cigarette EVER! Now when I have cravings (really bad when around other smokers) I just take a few vapes!! The less I vape the more money I save and the less nicotine I put in my body!

Who said anything about kids vaping??? I am almost 30yrs old far from a kid!! I was stupid and started smoking when i was a kid at 12yrs old thinking I was cool! Wish I never did but glad to find a PV has helped me quit smoking! Dont know whats up ur .... and hating on me cause I vape less then u. I never said anything bad about u being a "chain vapor" so why dont u just quit hating because my Dad has congestive heart failure, left ventricular heart disease, emphysema, and COPD. He is lucky to still be alive, he has to have a pacemaker/defib and now a heart pump which is whats keeping him alive, and able to live a somewhat normal life! He needs a whole heart transplant but got turned down for that because of a spot of cancer in lungs. I have also lost many Uncles and Aunts and other family members from smoking. So I would much rather vape my little .5ml a day then be at more risk to end up with some disease that will kill me from smoking!! U can vape as much as u want too. I vape when I need too hopefully one day I wont need it at all is my goal. I dont just vape for the fun of it so why dont u keep ur comments to urself!

But those kids will have much lower numbers of cancer and emphysema than if they picked up analogs. Nice to see your priorities...

If i could get my hands on cigarettes at 12yrs old im sure some kid would be able to get a E-Cig, but Im not saying that is good but if it was my kid I would rather them use the E-cig instead of smoking analogs! Lets face it if u find out ur kid is smoking yeah u can give them a whipping, ground them, what ever type of discipline u use on ur kids, but there still going to smoke behind ur back!! I know I did! And I didnt smoke till I was 20 in front of my parents again, and kept it hid so if there going to smoke anyways be better for them not to smoke or use a E-cig. In no way im I saying a kid or someone whose not addicted to smoking should start to use a PV for the fun of it!! As a matter of a fact I never mentioned anything about kids! I the OP just was stating how much liquid I go thru and how long my battery last! U must of assumed Im a kid!! Check my profile it has my age posted! Plus I think the rules of the ECF does not allow any one under the age of 18yrs old to be part of the forum. So I am going to go eat my steak and potato for dinner and have me an adult beverage!! Because I am an adult, or do u have a problem with that too?

33 years ago my father had a lung removed from cancer, as soon as I get through this I'll quit.
4 years later father passed away, as soon as I get through this I'll quit.
I finally got through all that after trying hard with everything since 1997(down to 1/2 pack a day), and had last cig 1/1/2011.
I could not say as soon as I get though/over this I'll quit any more as the medical issues are not going to go away including being on 02, 24/7.
Do wish I had been a smart 30 year old kid....

Probably because the haven't considered the real possiblity that the OP is under eighteen. I'd say the odds are two to one.

Vaping is a "club" for adults who are nicotine addicts. Unfortunately the welcome sign reads something like this:

Welcome to a lifetime of physical, mental, neurological and emotional dependency on nicotine! The good news is that there are no side affects!

Wow, a whole day? You're lucky, how often do you vape? I'm lucky if I can get two hours out of mine I used to smoke about a pack a day, and I feel the need to vape all the time just so I don't give up to temptation of having an analog.
