510 carto/dripping vs condom

hello everyone!

So...i picked up a few blank 510 cartos and i'm conflicted as to the best way to fill them while making sure not to damage my auto battery

should i use the condom method? or just drip from the top, give it time to soak in, then repeat?

looking for advice from the ECF gurus, dont want to blow my new auto batteries

I'm using 808 cartos from Smokeless Image, but here is what I do.

-Disconnect from the battery
-Drip in 5-10 drops, or until it pools a little bit
-Shake like a thermometer with the battery end down, usually over the sink or a paper towel in case juice comes out of the air tube
-Check and see how damp the fill looks (the first couple shakes will still look dry)
-Repeat the above until the fill looks good and damp
-Strong blow through Carto from the mouthpiece end to clear out any extra juice hanging out in the air tube or by the coil
-Wipe down battery end and exterior
-Have a vape.

Yeah, just drip it in. 5-10 drops, let it sit a minute...5-10 more. Most cartos will hold 20 or so drops when empty....depending on the size of the drops. Let it sit on a paper towel for a couple of minutes. If it runs out the bottom, it's over-filled, (no biggy) so blow it out a clean the battery end with a Q-tip or piece of paper towel.

I use the above method, but I dislike needing to put my mouth on the carto to blow out excess juice. Therefore, I place part of a broken wood tooth pick into the top center air hole of the carto to block it from getting any juice in it.

I use the same thermometer shake (simulates a centrifuge effect). Shake and drop. Shake and drop until the filler will take no more juice. Remove the tooth pick and add a drip tip. Ready to vape.

Because of Nicotine? I use 0mg juice so a little taste on the lips is okay by me.

So..I screwed up and got juice down the hole ...but I just blew it out...dried it real good and vaped

The top looks very dry but it vapes great ...much better than I expected for a tiny 510 mini

Hope I dont fry the batteries but at $6 a pop it wont be the end of the world if I do

Overall ...im happy to have something portable to take when im out and about

I just started using this method. But instead of shaking it, I blow into the carto and it pushes the liquid down. I use a punched carto for my tanks and I repeat this until I can see juice saturating the fill through the punch hole. Then I make sure the fill is all nice and wet. Remove the toothpick, and give it one good blow to make sure nothing seeped into the hole at all.
