510 Cartomizer funky taste brand new?

Anyone get any carts that have a funky taste when they're new? I got a 5-pack that was great... ordered another 5-pack from a diff vendor and they're a bit different. The first ones had typical stuffing looking material in them... and they work and taste great. The new ones look like they have cloth wrapped up inside them and have a second ring under the white cap. These new ones have the nastiest flavor... like burning chemicals or something and they get a lot hotter than the last batch.

Anyone experience this? Any fix for it or something I'm doing wrong? Only thing I can think is that I need to let the cart's with the cloth soak in juice overnight to get the atty wet.

I believe the first ones you got were made by Boge and the second ones sound like SLB cartomizers...and yes, I had the same issue with the SLB's and hope to never have to use another one.

yes Ive had this and Im pretty sure my ones were Boge btw - of the 5 pack I got 2 were funked up horrid (I trashed them, no way Im using something that tasted so bad lol) and one was barely ok - the other 2 were great. They were really cheap though so I just chalked it up to one of those things. I drip usually anway so Ive just gone back to that and Ill keep cartos for 'omg I cant drip here' times
