510 cartomizer

i just picked up some blank 510 xl cartomizers from myfreedomsmokes.com and they are very wierd. I popped the top off and instead od a silicone insert in there it was a black piece of plastic with 2 side holes and a middle that slides onto the middle tube were the wires are. also you cant see the filling, there is a plastic covering over it? but filling them thru the battery end works sorta. seems like i get alot of liquid in my mouth alot. I know im not putting more than 1 ml in them for thats what they hold. any ideas?

What brand are they? Need more info then maybe someone will know.

I looked at the myfreedomsmokes site, but I'm not sure what you bought. They sound like CE style cartos, filled with a syringe inserted in those holes. CE's don't have filler, just wicking material that extends into the fluid. As Balthezar suggested, post a link or more info and hopefully someone can give you a more definitive answer.

Definately sounds like it has an inner "tank" with wicks that feed the coil. if thats the case a syringe fill into the tank area is how to do it.

Are cartomizers supposed to burn up in 1 day? Am I doing something wrong that's making them go out faster? I have a Silver Bullet with a tank. Thanks

Cartomizers will Burn up if you dont keep them filled and vape it down to the pollyfill. They will also end up with a Tight draw if you constantly Overfill them. High VG content can also lead to burnt Polyfill on alot of cartomizers since it dosent wick well. My Boge Cartomizers can handle 50/50 just fine. If you use a high VG content you can try to thin your liquid with distilled water at a 1 to 6 ratio and try again.
