these are not for tanks. the cartomizer has 2 air holes above the screw (not in the tube) and these are not punch all the way through, so with out the air flow can not work. This has been an on going problem, very hit and miss. Also very annoying to try to open these holes so I can use the cartomizer. I just want to take it out of the package fill and vape, without working on it.

The supplier is ec blend. But the problem, imo lies at the manufacture they order from since this just started in the last few months), their responce was they will ask a manager if they can issue a return ticket, and I can not find a phone number for them. I now have to find a different supplier.

If it's the manufacturer, why is it going to matter to go to a different vendor?

I'd go to Surevapes also, they're very helpful. I'm sure if you ask for them to inspect the cartos, they will.

Last year they were the only place to stop selling bad Boges. They took a bad loss, but they really put the customer first.

Yes, you are correct I was thinking the same thing. I have used these for over a year and really enjoy the proformance. Which is way I did not want to switch cartomizer brands. If there was a tool I could use to punch these through myself I would.

Do you have a brand to recommended that will work as well? I get 5 to 7 days out of the smoketech before replacing.

Many use Boge. They have them at Surevapes also. 1.6-2.0 Ohms. The 2.0ohms are the most popular.

I hope you've let the supplier know so they can give feedback to Smoketech of the problem. Yours should be DOA warranty covered by most suppliers.

Yes, I did connect the suppier and received great customer service and they have already sent a message to smoketech making them aware of the issue. And they did cover the cost to replace them with a credit to use on anything on their site. Which is fine with me.

I will try the boge for a couple of months, then go back to smoketech and see if the issue is resolved. after a lot of trial and error with equipment I finally found a set up that I have been happy with for over a year now. So you can understand I am sure, why I hate the thoughts of starting the experiment again.

Great customer service there. Yeah, I also just stick with what works. I generally buy a couple of boxes of Boges, test them, then order $50-$100 worth.

Boges tend to be wrapped inside tighter than Smoketech. They might not chain vape well if you have over 50%VG. Some people have problems priming them, but I just stick mine in a carto condom full of juice and let it be for awhile, sometimes overnite.

I've only had 1 Bad boge since March of '11.

Since you don't use cartos in tanks, I highly recommend the 801 Fusions from Ikenvape. A premium carto which last longer than Boge or Smoktech. To use these, which have an 801 connector you'll need a 510-801 adaptor, but for many this is worth the minor inconvenience.

    Ikenvape 801 Fusion 2.0 ohm
    801 Fusion Cartomizer LR 2.0

    Ikenvape 801 Fusion 3.0 ohm
    801 Fusion Cartomizer 3.0

    Ikenvape 510-801 Stealth Adaptor
    510-801 Fusion Stealth Adjustable Adapter

Does a carto like this one require use of drip tip?

I agree with r77r7r above. A comfy drip tip for your lips to purse on is much easier to vape than straight from the carto. There's been a couple of recent threads lately about drip tips. The come in different sizes and made of different materials to suit your personal preferences. I prefer pyrex or tru-stone over metal tips for comfort and being able to insulate from the heat of the heating coil.
