Slurp has it almost exactly the way I do it. Drip a drop on the side of the inside, watch it soak in, then another drop. It usually takes a couple of seconds for each drop to soak in on a new carto. My KR808 cartos take around 30-32 drops (from the plastic bottles) the first time and 24-25 to refill. I put all the drops on one side until the first one that kind of doesn't soak into the fill, then I stand it up for a minute. Sometimes the opposite side will need a drop after that, sometimes not. Then I pop the cap back on, and blow through it from the battery side into a paper towel. When I first started oh so long ago (6 weeks or so

) I would usually end up seeing a lot come out onto the paper towel when I did the final blow-through, but as I get better at it, it isn't so much. Sometimes you get one of those drops that just goes RIGHT down the center tube, so you really want to blow it out to avoid "Mouthfullajoose syndrome."
I have heard the word "slushy" used to describe what the fill looks like when it is saturated. That's what it looks like to me too. It takes some practice, but it's pretty easy once you get the hang of it.
Good luck. We're all counting on you.
