510 Cartridge (Anti Residue Mod)

Hey everyone, I checked for a mod like this and haven't found one.

So here's what I've dubbed the Anti Residue mod, and have been testing it for a week now. I found that sometimes, even when pulling a nice slow drag off of the cartridge, there was still some residue that built up and exited the end of the 510 cart (round tips).

So with that in mind I decided to try something out, with left over pyramid teabag material.

Of course, you could make your own design of this mod I'm sure, but I found this one to work extremely well and NOT lower the amount of vapor produced. (Photo 3)

1.) With the teabag laid out length wise, fold the short side in half, then fold in half once more (about 1/4" width) Photo 1 and 2

1a.) Remove the top cap off of your cartridge (Photo 1, 2)

2.) Roll up the folded teabag strip (can be rolled nice and tight, as it will expand once in the cartridge) Photo 3

3.) Put the cap back on the cartridge (if the cap won't stay, remove and trim respectively)

Be sure to send feedback. After a week of testing on 3 rotating cartridges, I have yet to get any e-liquid in my mouth.

Is this in addition to having a standard filler on the other end? or is this being used as the filler, just being placed into the cart from the top end instead of the bottom end?

Would a little piece of poly fill work also?

From the looks of it, this is just a moisture catcher, not a filler. It is supposed to catch any juice from flooding from coming into your mouth when you take a draw, and also to stop condensation.

I was just thinking about the same issue this evening and I came up with a solution which is almost exactly the same.

Instead of using teabag material rolled up, why not stick in some dry cart filler? I've got tons hanging around but it's all full of liquid, if anyone can try this out please let me know the results.

I'm not trying to hijack this thread btw, I just think it's amazing that the fist thing I come across when doing my standard 'pre-idea lurk' is almost exactly the same! I'd like to try the teabag method though... I'll see if I have any lying around.
