I have never tried a 510, Always used a 901. But i think now is the time to get one.

Ive heard a few bad things about the 510 and am wondering if its still a good pv. Ive heard complaints of burning taste, battery life, heat of the atomizer.

Should i give it a try?

Im thinking of ordering 5 kits 3 black kits/ 2 white kits. All manual batts. They are the complete kits: 2 batts 2 atts etc.. for $146 shipped. Its a great deal, but are they even worth 24$ a kit? Will i be able to recharge the batts a couple hundred times?? I would like these 5 kits to last me a year.

Sounds like a hell of a deal. I would take it, and try only 1 kit, if you like it, then you're all set. If you don't, then you can sell them here on the classifieds.

BTW any burning taste usually goes away early and quickly....the 510 atomizers have a little fabric wick under the bridge and some of it touches the atomizer pot. it burns away and after a rinse and new liquid they're generally just fine.

thanks ! im going to get them.. i need to buy 5 kits to get them for 24$ a piece.
like you said ill only open 1 kit.. if i sell the unused ones on the forum people will be able to buy a complete 510 kit for 30$ including shipping, i wont make money off anyone here.
But i bet i will keep them all.. if grimmgreen likes it im sure i will. =)

Pink and Blue 510's? Am I missing something? I haven't seen these anywhere, or heard of them. I have black, white and titanium, and would be interested in pink and blue if you sell any.

looking for a second unit, trying to decide on 510 or 901. any thoughts?

I'm a big fan of the 901, but the 510 has made me a believer.

I can't take a long 5 second drag, so I tend to double drag my 901. On the 510 I take a shorter drag and it still produces more vapor than the 901 ever did. I don't find it harsh, exactly the opposite. I find the flavor comes out in the 510 like it never did in the 901. The 901 tended to clog/flood rather easily, but rarely ever have that problem with my 510. I don't tend to drip (though it does wonders for the flavor and smoke volume) and tend to top off the carts. I get better results topping off the 510 then I would direct dripping the 901.

Vapor isn't everything, unless it's the 510. The vapor is not only fuller but it delivers the flavor and the nicotine much better. After vaping the 901 I could almost vape again right away. With the 510 it's much more satisfying, so you're not running back for another vape 20-30 minutes later.

I did notice it took a while for the 510 batteries to break it, but only slightly less vaping time than the 901 batteries. There's very little "learning" curve when switching from the 901 to the 510, so I'd even recommend it to noobs. Don't fear the manual button, after a day it just becomes second nature.

I own 510's and M401's and find the 510 very frustrating. I get almost as much vapor from the M series and from the 510 and much more flavor, not to mention numerous times the battery life. I also do many things while I vape that require use of both hands - cannot do that with any manual switch model.

healthcabin's news letter a few days ago mentioned they were getting pink/blue 510 kits next week.. and i think Amy mentioned that she now had them in stock in one of her emails.

As far as the shipping being free after $300 w/ wholesale prices; you would have to ask her, i have no idea. It doesnt matter to me, cause shipping included on the 510 kits i have coming to me would make them $27 a kit/ cheap as ....

You can't use a manual switch with one hand? I don't have my 510 yet but it sure seems possible..Is this true?
