i'm sure you've seen the huge e2 carto thread in the general area.i've been following it pretty regularly, and so i have to ask before i buy: what 'revision' are your cartos? do they have 3 holes on the inner cap? 7? is the wick fluffy looking? is the coil really tight on the wick or is it a bit loose (to allow proper wicking)?

some pics could answer all my questions :)

i got my order of these, and i'm no carto expert, but i'll attempt to answer.

i stopped following that thread, so i don't know which version these are. bigbuyer tells me the production date is 6/16/10 if that helps. the inner cap has 3 holes, but i'm not sure how to define 'fluffy'.

having said all that, i like the way these perform. the taste and th are very comparable to dripping. i do have to let them cool after a few draws, which i'm assuming is due to a slow wick.

You can not go by the date on the box to tell what version. They are using the 06/16/10 boxes even for the ones manufactured after 07/21/10. I received some that has the June date and emailed them to ask. Was told that they are using the old boxes, but the cartos were made since 07/21/10. And if that is the truth or not from them, who knows.

cos, if you overfill, the excess will leak out the bottom. If filled right they do not leak at all. I left one sitting upside down for a couple hours and not one leak.

They run a tad too hot for me on a true 3.7v mod, but on stock 510 batteries, an Ego battery and my Lazer mods they are not bad. I have not experience any burning taste or signs of burning at all in a week with 2 of them. Even dry burned one of them. I do occasionally get a harsher dry hit if I've been using them too hard, but a quick turn upside down and a minute to rest and they are fine again.

The hit on them reminds me of a Joye 2.2 ohm 510 atty on a true 3.7volt mod. I imagine a lot of people will enjoy these just for that.

Happy Vaping!!

well i didnt have a needle so i used the premade bottle/needle that came with my wetbox to fill these.

Bruce sent me one to try out, it is the softcap with the 2 holes in the disc kind. so i took the cap off, filled my wetbox needle/bottle with some fried apples, gave the needle a slight twist into the first hole and squeezed some in there. then i did the same to the other side till i saw it come out of the first hole. then i put 2 tiny drops down the center. i let it sits for about 5 minutes and i was vaping away.

on my ego....great taste, great hit, still hitting today. have probably taken a good 10-12 drags on it, some probably 4 in a row. never got too hot or lost taste.

thing is i have a few ego knockoff batts, this carto will not work with them (might be a easy fix idk) it only works on my real ego batts.

eJoker... How would you compare them to Regular 510 cartos?

better - much better. the flavor and th are comparable to dripping.
i took the inner cap out and put a drip tip on them. easier to fill, don't need the syringe/adapter. of course they leak easier this way if you tilt them past horizontal, but that's not a concern for me.

I agree with eJoker. The flavor is way better than regular cartos. I have cleaned and refilled with 4 different flavors in the same one and there is no flavor bleed over.

This is encouraging…

Perhaps when my current supply of cartomizers is used up, I would consider trying some.

got my order earlier today, loving my first e2! the rubber tip had a funky nail salon smell, but i just set that aside and have taken e-joker's idea to heart. took the inner cap out too, and i'm using a drip tip. it rocks! my hello 016 battery has never produced such flavorful vapor (and clouds of it, too!) even with a LR atty. i don't know what kind of chinese magic is going on inside of these, but i think they're around 2.5(ish) ohms, and it's acting like a 5v vape. I LOVE IT!

I was fortunate to receive a very nice gift in the mail today, a few CE2s. Thank you WWay!

I put one on a multi-meter, looks 2.5'ish to me. My softcap's have a "nail saloonish" aire to them too. I haven't vaped one yet because I need to beef up (or rather thin down) my refilling technology. My syringe needle will not fit thru the fill holes. I don't want to rip it apart, so i'll have to get a thinner needle before I'm able to give this a whirl.

The battery connector is definitely different. The center post on the carto isn't a 'post' at all? Concave with significant air passages out thru 2 areas around the periphery. The material available to make electrical contact is small compared to the typical 510 design. I haven't fired it yet, but it appears to make contact on my Mini-VapeStack.

As soon as I get some liquid in one of these, I'll be back to tell my story with them. Wow, that coil sure does sit close to the top of the carto with a straight unobstructed vapor path out thru the top.

Thank you again WWay!!!

i know that you're supposed to fill them with a syringe, but if you remove the inner cap, you can just drip down the side. i've been topping off like this and it's been working great. could just be because i'm trying a new juice, but this thing is blowing my mind. how (at higher resistance than a standard joye atty) can these things produce so much vapor and flavor at such a low voltage (hello 016 and standard 510 batts)?
