I bought some flat tip 510 carts from several dealers. They come 5 to a box
and are each wrapped. The box is white a little bigger than the original Joye cart box. I've had problems with them fitting REAL LOOSE. It's very annoying. Any others out there with this issue? I do like the flat tips better though.

I think they may actually be 901 carts? Able to fit on so purchased as 510 flat tipped.
Not sure.
I like them better but they are loose.
Maybe you can put a piece of tape or something on the high part of the inside of the cart to thicken it, far away from the atomizer so it does not burn.

If you don't mind sharing, where did you get them? I've been looking for some.

Maybe some heatshrink around it would work? Not sure though. You might can find something a little bigger than the cart and use it to stretch it a little.

I bought my last 5 boxes from myvaporstore.com. Nice people with great service. I cant remember the 1st box I bought to be honest. I've been trying many of the suppliers juice for that one special flavor! I love the flat tips. just annoying with them being loose. I will stick with them any way.

A quick fix to the loose 510 cart is to take a larger size sewing needle and heat it up to red hot. Place the hot needle flat against the part of the cart that fits inside, needle tip facing toward the top of the cart. Hold it in place until you see a little valley or line form. It won't look like it is going to make any difference, but it does. Place 4-6 of these lines around the cart. Let it cool then place the cart back in the atty. You should have a nice tight fit now. The more lines you place around the cart, the tighter the cart gets. I have had carts that would fall out become nice and snug using this method.

Thanks for the tip. Do you place the pin tip on the inside or outside of the cart? I'm sure it has to be the inside to form a burr.

You would place the pin tip on the outside of the portion of the cart that slides into the atty. The heated pin will make a valley where the pin slightly melts the plastic, but this will result in raised ridges (or burrs) on either side of the valley, and will tighten up the fit.

I find the 901 are a tighter fit for a 510 than a 510 cart; the 510 cart gets loose over time - I think that not using filler doesn't help the fit of mine either (I drip)
I've tried the 'pinching with tweezers' idea but its been only a temporary fix for me, I find they get loose again after a short time - I like the heated needle idea and may give that one a whirl.

My Joye Titanium atties came with flat tips inserted, they were a bear to get off. Do note many of the imitation 510 atties, like the SLB/DSE have a slightly larger diameter than authentic Joyes.

As was noted DSE 901 tips should fit tighter (they are a tad larger), plus they hold a few more drops of liquid. Folks also prefer the thinner tip.

Any tip will loosen over time, especially with a hotter running Joye atty.

Loose Cartridges:
The diameter of 510 atomizer was recently made larger, resulting in the older, smaller cartridges not fitting properly and falling off. Loose cartridges were also a problem with the M-401 model and an ECF member came up with a modification to fix the problem. With the 510, you would make the modification to the outside of the cartridge, but you can get the idea here: Fixing loose cartridges on an M-401 electronic Cigarette

As I said the diameter of many of the imitation 510's is larger. I doubt that Joye has seen fit to change their diameter. As is always the case the generic term '510' is quite vague and refers to many products that are far from identical, except at first glance.

I have "Zenith" atomizers and some from TECC. Are either of these imitations?
