510 Gemini w/ Man Battery Issue

I just charged my manual battery for the Gemini and for some reason after I took it off the charger its just blinking real slowly with out me pressing the button. When I do press the button sometimes it work and sometimes it don't. Any ideas?

And its brand new...

One of mine did this as well with my first kit, they will replace it without a problem. The batt is bad. You can try to drop it flat at about 6" onto a hard surface(desk) as a last resort, I have another manual 510 batt that acts up sometimes and just needs a reminder of its function

I would get a replacement if you just got it.
