I disagree. I say Joyetech needs to fix their quality control. Have you seen the problems coming out of their factories lately or are you still thinking it's "new user error"?
Sun Vaporer did testing on 10 Joye attys from different vendors and his results are alarming. What are we vaping that is causing the nickle mesh to turn blue and crumble? Nickle shouldn't change color at the temperatures needed for vaping juice.
I've sold
tens of thousands of 510 kits over the past year and personally overseen customer service on all complaints. YMMV, but the vast majority of issues actually
are user error. As part of the Suppliers Council, we share customer feedback and insight on these issues and see far more than an individual user would.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not a poster boy for Joyetech and that's not to say that Joyetech (and all e-cig manufacturers) don't need to ramp up their QA/QC procedures. We started with 11 different models and phased down to the 510/302 line specifically because they had the
least problems.
When you say "problems coming out of their factories lately" are you referring to the knock offs being produced by pirates or actually problems with the supply chain? I've always said that
Made in China doesn't carry the same warm fuzzy as
German Engineering, but I haven't seen any specific decrease in quality lately. Even Yeti and Titan resellers will tell you that they opted to have the 510 branded for them because of its reputation.
I know Sun very well and consider him a very good friend (he and I were two of the three founders of CASAA) but I'm sure he'd agree that NO currently manufactured e-cig products would fare well if the spotlight were placed directly on them. Personally, I am far more concerned with the fact that liquid manufacturers can put anything in a plastic bottle and sell it.
That said, I am certainly not so asinine as to assume I know everything about electronic cigarettes or even the 510 itself. If you have any specifics you can share I am more than open to having my opinion changed by a well supported argument. If you want to push for a change, cite specifics and I'll share them with other resellers. Maybe a group push that threatens the manufacturers bottom line will make a difference.
