510 LR Atomizer shocking the tongue?

Okay, I have something wierd happening with my 510 LR atty. It's 2.0 ohms (or thereabouts, haven't tested it). I use my ego pt, or my purple ego, and an aluminum DT. Last night, when I'd fire it up, my tongue would get zapped. What's causing this? Is it dying? Is there a short somewhere?​

Hard to tell but esp. with the PT I wouldn't use it. Try another atty and if there is no zap, then throw away the LR atty. If you get zapped then send the batteries/PT back and tell the vendor what happened.
