510 LR attys: dripping every 5 drags

I know these things eat up juice like no other, but I didn't expect this much...I drip 2-3 drops of pg and/or vg into my LR on my Riva, and after 3-5 drags I lose the flavor and get that burnt plastic taste/feeling in the back of my throat. Drip in another 2 drops and I'm good for another 3-5 drags. I've seen videos of people vaping for 3-5 minutes with 20+ drags on their LRs without redripping. Also, even if I get that burnt taste, I see drops of liquid on the outside of my atty, which signifies flooding i think.

Am I doing something wrong? Is this normal? I'm using regular 510 LRs from liberty-flights. I've probably gone through 15-20 mL in 3-4 days...I don't want to go back to regular attys tho; not enough TH or taste, very unsatisfying.

That sounds pretty close. I drip at 6v with 510 attys in the 3.2-3.5Ω range. Three drops gets me about 6 or 7 good drags, then it's time to drip again. That's the downside to dripping, but more than made up for in flavor, TH and vapor production IMHO. When dripping is a hassle due to time or activity restraints I use cartomizers.

Yeah got cartos on the way for driving. Both mega cartos and LR cartos. Looking forward to trying them out. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't screwing anything up.

That sounds about average. Every ones going to be a little different depending on the drag, juice and equip. I get about the same maybe a little more on a at 3.7 with a reg ohm atty.

I don't go through quite that much liquid, but 5-7 drags on 3 drops sounds about right. Try to drip when the flavor drops off a little and before you get that burnt taste. I have also found that I have been able to reduce the NIC content quite a bit with LRs and still be satisfied.

yeah I may have to do that. too bad I have 150 mL of my current nic level...I'm vaping til nausea
