510 mega batteries

Hey everyone,

can i use the 510 mega batteries on my regular 510? and will it fit in my charger?
Does anyone know how much longer the mega's last than the regular battery?

Yes you can, they will fit. They are approx. 1 inch longer and from what I hear they are 280mah compared to 180mah for regular 510 batts. More than 1/3 longer lasting Im guessing.
Im waiting for my first one also.

They will fit your chargers fine. Some chargers won't accept some manufacturers manual batteries though (button placement varies depending on who made them and when). Mega batteries won't fit the standard battery PCC and some clamshell cases won't fit either. If your case has extra room at the end of each of your batts then it should fit the megas just fine.

i shuffle my regular 510 stuff and mega stuff around all the time. i've even used my PCC with the mega by putting it under the edge of the armrest in my car to keep the battery in place.
