Hello,

Just loaded up my first 510 Mega Fusion Punch! 3.0ohm carto.

The flavor and vapor production from this thing is fantastic!

I'm using a really thin juice, and I was worried about flooding, but I'm actually experiencing the opposite effect.

I've primed it good, and even resorted to the "plug & pull a dry hit" method a twice now. The carto has drawn in around .5ml of juice each time.

Is there a specific way I should be priming them before use?

I'm hoping I can get this resolved. Several times over the course of the evening, I had to "prime" the carto.

Once it's primed again, all is well. No leaking whatsoever...just little or no wicking either.

I just spent the last 30 minutes "super-flooding" this carto. I don't think another drop will go into the batting.

I'm going to vape this bad boy a bit before bed and see how it performs. I really want these to work.

Try another one. It may be the carto. That has happened before and if it is the carto you should send it to Isaac so he can get on top of it.

I vaped on it a little last night, without incident, and went to sleep. Got up this morning, and the top of the batting was dry again, so I went through the super-flood one more time.

I still can't get over the flavor and production of these things! Easily a 2x improvement from my previous carto's.

So far, it looks like it may be working. I'll likely know for sure in an hour or two.

I'm a bit relieved to hear this isn't "normal". Usually when something isn't working properly, the performance isn't worth a damn either...that's totally not the case with this!

Sadly, it went dry again...

I slid the wick holes out the bottom on tank, and poked at the batting inside of them a bit with a needle, then went through the another "plug & pull". It drew in at least 1ml of liquid, but the resistance of the pull seemed less this time.

This little bugger continues to champion vape! Lol!

That's good to know. Next time I see someone with that problem I'll know what to tell them plus when I encounter the same. Thanks KY.

Ok, day 5 on this same carto...

It still hits like it's new! No cleaning or anything outside of vaping 12mg Halo SubZero! The strongest carto-killing menthol juice I've used (and my ADV :) ). Just over 20ml's put through this thing so far! Most I've ever gotten on other carto's before cleaning was 15ml's.

I traveled home to Kentucky from San Diego today, and I wanted to see how this carto would handle quick and significant pressure changes...so I topped the tank off this morning before heading to the airport.

Like all others, it leaked. But that's physics, not the carto. UNLIKE most carto's, all I did was simply un-flood it, topped off the tank, and continued vaping! Still a nice open draw and awesome flavor! Others, it's just hit-or-miss, as the internal "skirt" around the wick tubes will more often than not separate, rendering the carto dead.

So after a little learning curve on priming and nothing short of use & abuse, this thing still rocks!

Viva la IkenVape!!!

Good to hear KYRob. I'm awaiting my first carto-tank. Went with the slim UDCT with locking mechanism specifically because I was told it can handle 801 fusions from Ikenvape. Just curious, but what tank are you using it with? Device? Cheers!

I'm using a 6ml locking Artemis tank from SmokTek (I think this is the big brother to what you've ordered) on a ProVari v2.5. Be advised, I have to use the separate airflow regulator, but this works quite well.

Ok so I think we can safely say subzero rocks the fusion!

^^Great stuff...that's gonna be my new setup...minus the airflow regulator. I use a Provari as my main device...and I'm hoping that an extender will do the trick for proper airflow. Can't wait to get back to carto's, namely Fusions, as opposed to fiddling with all the clearo's I've grown weary of.

thanks for posting this! i have the smok udct locking tank (smaller with frosted tube), that cannot be used with my provari and i was having trouble wrapping my brain around the air controller...now that i see the picture i am like "duh! the controller screws into the mod, tank into controller" for whatever reason my brain was equating it with an ego beauty ring and kept thinking that the post wasn't long enough....total dingbat moment! LOL
i am waiting on my order of 3.0 mega fusion punches...so excited! (hi isaac! :D)

Glad I could help :) The airflow controller or an extension is a must for use on a lot of different batts & mods. The Artemis/UDCT is essential for me...third time with a pocket-full-o-juice was the charm ;p

You're gonna love the IKV Fusions! Just be sure to poke at the batting a bit with a sewing needle (thru the wick holes) before you prime it, and you'll be good to go!
