510 mega vs 808d reg

Does the 510 mega last as long as the kr808d1 reg battery??? I would like to know form a first hand account, On paper they both come in 280mah, but i do kr8 bats seems to last forever, just wondering if its the same with the 510 Mega??

While they both are rated 280mAh, and they both will last as long as the other - the other factor is the ohms on the atomizer/cartomizer - so that if you have a regular 510 atomizer on a 510 mega batt, the batt won't last as long using this 2.1-2.3 ohm atty vs. say a 3.0 ohm cartomizer on the KR8. But given that everything is constant in terms of ohms, they both should last the same time and in my experience do exactly that.

Yep. The mAh is the same. What's different is the voltage: the 510 batt is about 3.1V; the Kr8 is a true 3.7V. But, as Kent points out, the lower resistance 510 atty does just fine on that lower voltage battery ... a higher-resistance Kr8 carto wouldn't fair so well (even with a 510-to-Kr8 adapter for the threading/gender issue).
