I'd like to know about this myself. My girlfriend found it on the Litecig site last night and showed it to me. The price and kit look awesome. Even the device itself looks really nice. She was going to pick one up, but we started looking at what few reviews there are, it doesn't look good. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/e-cigarette-video-reviews/187941-510n-mod-kit-review.html

I'm curious if Litecig carries the new version with the metal button and vent hole or the old version with the plastic button and no vent holes. Is the new version much better?

I also want to know if the switch in this thing will hold up with other batteries like AW IMR's or AW RCR123's stacked for 6 volt and if it can handle the 4.8 volt NiMH batteries?

If it can do all of that and not fall apart like the other thread says it does, Litecig is going to make a killing off of this thing.

Thanks for the info. I know every forum supplier is supposed to say stacking is bad and with good reason. But I haven't had any issues with my AW LiFePO4 stacked in my other mod. So more or less just curious if the switch can handle it. But even so I doubt she would stack. That's more my kind of thing.

That said I just curious how well these things hold up in general and if the metal button is a lot better than the plastic, do you know by chance if the design of the newer button is itself different or just made out of metal instead of plastic?

I had the dual coil carto's from LiteCig and they worked just fine, with both the UltraFire 3000mah protected batteries and the AW IC 2200mah batteries I purchased separately. Even the Dual Coil LR Atty from LiteCig worked perfect, and is my favorite atty on this Mod. Their specs show it to range from 1.5ohm to 2ohm, and mine was beautiful at 1.8. I also stacked LifePO4 3v batteries with the 3.2ohm atomizers it came with, and not a single problem once they were dewicked.

I know this thread is a little old, but maybe it'll help someone out.

I loved the 510-N until I broke the switch unit (due to fault of my own, not a design flaw or otherwise), and I'll be buying the individual switch by itself after I get me a VV mod.

Just to follow up. I did end up getting my girlfriend this mod for Christmas. Sadly it arrived after Christmas but that's the fault of USPS slow holiday shipping. Anyway, she loves it. She's used it with the regualr batteries and tried out my 4.8v batts on it. She uses dual coil cartos, 306's and tried out my DCT on it. She's getting a DCT for it herself. She also uses standard boge cartos on it, the black wrapped ones and those fit even with the cone on.

I bought a replacement switch from another vendor just in case her's dies. At which point I'll just mod her unit, pulling out the board and switch and putting the new one in. But so far so good as is. Great price for what this unit is and comes with.

Love my 510n models .. here's my nightly vape: 510n / Torpedo with the eGo DC carto .. holds 5ml of my fav menthol juice, yummy and lasts for days :)

Torpedo/510n with eGo connector (note .. I had to leave the nice atty shroud off)

With the SMOK dual-coil eGo carto (giant) mounted
