The 510 has a special charging instructions just for that first charge.

Charge for 8 hours, vape for 20 minutes, then charge for another hour. The light on the charger will turn green long before the 8 hours is up. Simply keep it charging for 8 hours.

Additional charges are simply after the light turns green the battery is good to go.

That's pretty much it for the owner's manual.

Not sure about an online owners manual, but at the top of this forum page (the 510 forum) there is a sticky with helpful info from Joye. You might start there. Also, almost everything you could ever want to know or need to know can be found right here in the 510 forum. :)

The initial charge for the 510 batts is 8 hours on charger (no matter when the light goes green), use battery for 20 minutes, then back on the charger for another hour.

After that, you can recharge as needed and reuse when the light goes green, but I try to never take it off before an hour of recharging time, regardless of how quickly the light is green.

I purchased my prized yeti 6 weeks ago. I followed the charging instructions to the T. My batteries last 3-4 hours each and I am still on my original attys.
It was the best investment I made. I now have 3 sets....just in case. Follow the instructions and you will find the greatest of pleasure in your yeti. Also, Jason at electronicstix is a gem of a source for yeti everything. He posts when his shipments arrive and even publishes his personal cell phone. customer service is A+
Happy yeti vaping!
Bonnie:)

They arrived today, so I stopped by home to put them on the charger; so hopefully I'll be able to try them later.

Is the charger supposed to have a green blink every few seconds? Is it just me or is the supplied cable to connect to the charger extremely short? Its not even long enough to reach from the plug to the floor. I had to prop the chargers on a chair.

Tried it for the first time last night. Vapor wasnt bad, but I didnt feel it hit the back of my throat **at all**. I'm hoping that is just the carts that came with it and will improve once I refill myself.
I had mentioned this in another thread, but could someone provide a link for how to refill (maybe a video). I'm assuming there is some generally accepted practice that works better than others.

The atomizers will get better with use. It does take a little time for them to break-in. As far as storage, I leave a moist, not overly wet, cartridge attached to my atomizers when they are not in use. I do remove the batteries and clean the contact surface and leave them unattached overnight. The manufactures do not offer much in the way of instructions.

Have to agree with Ad2 that the attys do get better with use. Whether it's clearing the primer or breaking in the atty or you learning how to draw (or a combination of all those things), within a few days the attys seem to "wake up" and start really pumpin'!! :hubba:

Of the 3 I have, during the first few days I had a favorite because it just worked better than the others, but now they're all sizzlin and I'll be so sorry when they die and I have to break in new ones.

Oh, and as far as throat hit, I've found that different juices produce a different level of throat hit, but another important thing is a full cart with a fully charged battery and the right juice...then watch out! :D

I've found that I lose the throat hit if I flood the atty, even if just a little bit. So a little dab a doo ya!!

It's funny about these attys, not just the 510s but all of them. I started sorting them to awesome, ok, and wushy.

Speedikeys - I don't think the sizzlin means they're about to die. I've had some attys that have been sizzlin for quite a while now. I think the sizzlin might depend on how wet or how dry the wick is.
