510 charging

Alright so when I bought my 510 I used both e-cigs with the charge they came with, then let them charge for 8 hours and used them. My question is, do I have to charge them for 8 hours each time or will roughly 1 hour be enough to get a full charge and keep them good? Just curious, I usually let them sit on the charger until ready to use the next battery, so there's always one on the charger for a few hours.

Some people say until the light turns green, some people say a couple hours after the light turns green. I bought I multimeter recently and plan to test the batteries to solve this question for once and for all, once I get around to it...

I just got my first 510 yesterday & ran across a big debate on this whole thing. I'm sure I have the thread bookmarked if you really want to read it, but it basically just became a back & forth of "You don't know what you are talking about; you aren't a battery surgeon" type disagreement.

So, what I've decided to do is do what my owners manual says:
charge for 8 hrs; use said battery for 20 min, then charge again for 1 hour -- all of this regarless what the red/green light tells me.

After that initial charge-up, it should only take about an hour to charge. <--I haven't got to that point yet. Heck, I'm still trying to get my first atty broken in LOL

I'd love to hear/read what you find out!

Yeah, I don't see any way to really test the initial charge recommendations, but I hope to be able to determine if there is any point to leaving the battery on the charger after the light turns green on subsequent charges....
