510 passthrough from eastmall.

I got my 510 passthrough from eastmall.

I think it might be DOA.

I know you need to charge the inline batt before hand, however, How should it be charged? Just by leaving it in the passthough and pluging in the USB to a comp and lettting it sit, or do I need to take the batt out and charge it?

I cant get that damn thing to work. Someone please help me on HOW TO MAKE THIS PASSTHOUGH WORK.

You know, I think I remember that my passthrough arrived with tape over the ends of the battery. This may be a dumb question, but did you make sure there isn't any, and that the battery is making good contact at both ends in its little case?
I do remember it took quite a while to charge mine up the first time, and it has been totally fine since then.

There is no covering on the ends of the batt, and it seems to be making contact with both ends inside the box... :/

This sucks :*(
