Anyone have any idea the average amount of time a 510 PCC will last until it breaks or you have to replace it? Is it just one of those things where a random amount of time (say 1 day to 5 years) into using it, it simply won't work anymore? Or is there a more narrow timeframe to expect for a once fully healthy PCC? If many of them stop working well or at all after around 6 months or so I would get another as a backup.

My PCC is about 4 months old and I'm only getting about 2 full e-cig charges rather than the 4 I got when it was new.
I just got a 510 pcc and wondered that too.. I was thinking there's a way to get into it and just replace the rechargeable battery that is in it??
My PCC is about 4 months old and I am still getting 4 charges out of it. I took it apart a while back to see how it was put together. If you have some basic soldering skills, it will be quite easy to replace the battery.
