I bought a PCC for my 510 and not sure it's working right ... or I'm doing something wrong.

When I got it I plugged it in and let it get a good 8 hour charge even though it came mostly charged. I put in a freshly charged battery, carts and atty and put it in my purse. A day and a half later I went to use it and all the batteries were dead - the PCC battery and it drained the PV battery. Isn't the reason for using a PCC to keep batteries charged?

Also, should only pre-charged batteries be put in the PCC?

I don't really understand how this is suppose to work. When the lid is closed it presses down on the battery and the LED comes on, so it must be depleting the PV battery, right?

You should exchange it, I have used mine for two days straight at a time and it has recharged my 510 bat from dead to full at least 4 times before the pcc is fully discharged.

When you charge the pcc the bottom light should be red then when it is done it turns green.

When you fully discharge the battery in the pcc the middle light turns red.

While charging the 510 battery the top light turns red then goes off when it is done and the battery is topped off.
