510 PCC Question

So I just received my 510 PCC in the mail. I thought I knew how to use it. It looked pretty simple. So the blonde that I am, I have a dumb question....
Does the battery screw into the PCC? or does it just sit in there and when you close the lid, that it will charge? I don't want to break or damage either piece.

It just sits in the unit. If you have a manual battery there is a slot that the switch slides in. Then when you close the lid it presses it down into place and charges the battery.

Yah if you just push the battery down onto the unit with the lid open, your LED will flash (telling you that its charging)
