I've been using my eGo as my main PV, but I have a few friends interested in e-cigs so I purchased some 510 parts and 2 PCCs. I was planning on putting together little kits for my friends to try.

I've read the "everything you need to know about your 510 thread."

When I place a dead battery in the PCC it begins charging, the top light goes out when it is fully charged. However, I've found that if I just leave the charged battery in the PCC until I need it the 510 battery will be dead again. I've got 2 PCCs from different vendors, although they appear to be identical.

Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to remove the battery immediately after it is charged? I thought the whole point of the PCC was to have a fresh battery when you needed it?

I also have a Joye eGo, and really happy with it. When I had my Blu kit (which I returned for my money back), it came with a PCC. Their instructions were to unscrew the battery as soon as it is charged, otherwise the PCC and battery will begin to discharge.

I don't know if your PCC works the same way, but try unscrewing the battery from the PCC as soon as the light shows that the battery is charged.

The 510 batteries you have to take out as soon as they are charged. if you don't they start discharging right away. The same thing with the pcc. When you have the pcc plugged in to charge it, once it's fully charged, you have to take the cable out. It also starts discharging right away and you will see the green light go to red.

I thought the PCC would add to the 'cool factor' when giving these 510s to my friends. I guess I'll just give them some small USB chargers instead. Thanks again!
I would give them the pcc too, just teach them how to use it. As long as they know, I'm sure it'll be cool.
