ok i just got my 510 pcc today and i like the idea only one problem is there a way to store they battery without it charging while im at work i might not need to charge but i dont want to be constently charging the battery for no reason any ideas?

One of the pcc's I looked at had a special spot to store it... but it wasn't a 510 pcc. My batterys always last me a full day, maybe just leave the pcc at home? Just see how it goes without it?

Sure it will, most of us do this.
Just have to hold batt down with one finger, close lid with other hand. Careful though because the lid will spring open when you go to open it next time and the batt can fly out, so just be on the ready.

why is it bad to keep it on the charger? cuz im gettin a PCC to keep it charged at wrk, but if thats bad i wnt get it, cuz i do charge my batts b4 i goto wrk or leave anywhere...i thought u were suppost to keep it on a charge as much as possible
it wont work i could but then i would bend the top of the case i dunno guess mine defective or something....lol hi april
The charger actually shuts off when the battery is fully charged. Hense the LED going out.
510 batts don't last that long to be worried about storing for an extended period, that's the beauty of the pcc, bout the time your on cig batt dies, the pcc stored batt is charged.

well i heard that if you dont take it out it will drain the battery thats the only reason i was trying to find out how to store it without it charging
Yeah, it should totally shut off when it detects that the battery is fully charged. I know mine does. I never take a battery out unless I need it.
so whats the deal?? u keep your cig in the charger all day and it only charges untill its fully charged then shuts off right?? cuz i dnt wanna get one if i can posibly over charge it..........
Exactly. There's some pretty fancy protection circuitry inside the batteries and the PCC and they will not overcharge. The red LED on the PCC will go out when your battery is charged and it will not turn on again until the battery drops below something like 90% charge, i.e. when you use it.
