510 Prodigy V1 = Bliss!

I know 510 adapters at 5v have been downplayed plenty here, but as a first time 510 user after nearly a year of 801 and 901 use and 5v exclusive since early July ... the 510 atty is TO DIE FOR.

Comparable throat hit to 901 and a metric crapton more vapor and flavor!
Color me impressed!

Took advantage of Puresmoker's adapter liquidation and took a chance at trying the 510, but had to wait another week for order of 10 atomizers and 50 black round tips to arrive from overseas.

Clearly everyone has an opinion, but this "veteran" ecig user is going to be making the 510 configuration his primary setup. That said I still love my 801 and 901's, but neither are my favorite anymore.

I'm a 510 groupie. I'm mainly 3.7 (18650's) in my Prodigy because I vape at work and don't want to be lofting huge clouds over the cube tops.

As the attys start to die off or become more resistant I go straight 6v (no resistor) on them. Some, it's actually brought back to life and the others are just fog machines at 6v.
Gotta keepem wet though....

I'll run the 801's / 901's with the sweet flavor liquids but only so they don't burn and gunk up my 510's.

Where are you getting your 510 attys? 99% of mine are from TW.
PS is going to be releasing them in Stainless in the next few weeks.

I wish I could offer an objective point of view but all I own are 510's. I really love 5 volts too.

I think that PS has some 510 attys. Their bulk pricing is the best too.

thanks for the tips grimes, my pretty (and on sale) 510 adapter is waiting to be tried on my Prodigy as well, i'm going to try to do some video of it myself with first reactions. i'm very curious how it stands up against the 901. i'm not loving the 801 as much as 901 still, so hopefully 510 impresses me ;p

Count me in. I've rediscovered my Prodigy with a 510. Now when I get home, I just switch the atomizer from the Protege to the Prodigy and keep going. I now prefer it to the 801 on the Prodigy too.

The part that kills it for me with the 801 is the loooong slow draws you have to take off the thing to get any decent throat hit. The 901 and 510 are very similar in throat hit, but I swear I get SOOO much more vapor off a 510 compared to brand new, broken in or resuscitated 901. I swear my O-rings shoot twice the distance now! And the flavor... oooo i feel like i'm rediscovering all my juices again!

If anyone prefers the 901 configuration (between it and 801) and has yet to try the 510, I highly recommend helping Steve clear out his stock of V1 510 adapters - you WILL notice quite a performance difference at 5 volts.

Update: I should mention that I went into this 510 experience expecting to be underwhelmed (expected to not notice any difference from 901). I was not romanced into it, it was simply a gamble to me - but with the liquidation prices it was an acceptable gamble - worse case I'd have another configuration and choice of atomizer to screw on the Prodigy. That said, the first impression totally blew me away and hence the reason for this thread
