I submitted this question to PS, but thought maybe some of the forum folks might know. You guys always seem to be quick with the answers. I hate the thought of being without my V1 for a while, and if there's a quick fix, I'll give it a try.
I got two new mechanical switches for my Prodigy V1 from PS about a week and a half ago. I installed the 5V version and have been using it as my primary device. After a couple days, it started to get a little flaky. To make it hit, I'd loosen the 801 adapter just a tad, and it would work a while, then quit. Then I'd snug it up a bit and it would work a while, then quit.
When I went to take the 801 adapter off to examine the switch, I noticed the switch was wet on top. I'm thinking maybe that's what was causing the intermittent firing problem.
I've never heard of an adapter leaking juice onto the switch before. Can that happen? I thought they were dripping-friendly and juice-tight.
If a new 801 adapter will solve the problem, I'll order one ASAP.
Thanks for the advice!
