I recently purchased a magma 510 kit with auto bats from http://www.volcanoecig.com. I have been using their Volcano E-cig (believe its a 901) for four months and like it, but was excited by the reviews I read about more TH. Since I used to smoke Camel Wides with the filter cut down or off I miss the TH. Are there any notable differences in the use between the two? I plan on refilling carts and replacing the filler. I usually use 18mg or 16mg juice to refill/dip/drip.

you can boost throat hit by adding a few drops of everclear to your liquid

I don't know which make of 510 volcano is rebranding, but in general, 510s give more throat hit, but 901s give better flavor.
Yep, candre23 nailed it. The 901 was my second model. Then I had to try the 510. Much better TH and vapor production. But some love the 901 because it IS a smoother vape.
I really miss the TH so flavor isn't an issue. If it becomes one I will order flavorings and add them to get more of the flavor.
