I'm still new to vaping but the three weeks I've been using my 510 mini has lead me to realize if someone is replacing analogs and vapes on a regular basis an eGo styled pv is a necessity. After a week of charging and using about 4 batteries a day I quickly realized the mini isn't always the way to go even for first time vapers. Luckily my wife didn't have the patience to use hers much so I was able to take hers along with me, I decided away from buying a PCC as it seemed like it would only prolong the use of mini batteries and delay the inevitable need to buy an eGo.

I decided to post about my experience to point out the usual habits of first time vapers of going with the mini style PV's to try and simulate analogs. What most experienced vapers on the forum would recommend is to avoid simulating analogs with your PV as it makes it more confusing for people around you when in public. Also there are a couple of draw backs when using mini PVs one being battery life and another being inferior vapor production when compared to the larger "eGo" styled PVs such as Rivas, Tornados and obviously the Joye eGo.

Don't get me wrong though I love my Joye 510 and it vapes up a storm when certain elements are in place although I've been dripping after my first week to get more consistent vapes. But the mini style PVs work for allot of people and most will recommend it as a stepping stone when getting into vaping but the reason so many people will just tell you to do your own research is there are so many options out there.

And finally the conclusion, although I do love my 510 mini but due to the frustrating battery life and the fact that I want to move on to bigger and better things I recently ordered the 510 Riva. The fact that I'm paying less for the Riva starter kit than I did for a Joye 510 kit is what lead me to post and try to clarify for new time users the reasoning and importance of researching your first PV kit. At Liberty-Flights the Riva's are going for $37.50 and with a discount closer to $30, seeing I paid a respectable $44 shipped for my mini 510 I think it would make sense for someone on a budget to go straight for the Riva. Plus I noticed LF just went through around 200 Riva kits within the past week so they seem to be a popular choice for a PV.

Honestly I have both and don't mind carrying the mini 510's around in a pcc because when I carry my inferno around I end up using a case even bigger than a 510 pcc to hold the juice/ cartomizers.

The magma pcc with the manual magma batteries holds 4 carto's (standard size traditional or e2) which is enough to get me through the work day...and then some actually. When I carry around the inferno I do so in a plastic thing to hold the inferno and 2 carto's a drip tip and a 3ml juice bottle...they make leather inferno/ego cases but they seem pretty cheap to me and pretty darn large, I am hoping I can find something better...sure If I am just going out for a short trip I can just carry the inferno..but then I could just carry a 510 mini if I am just going out for a short trip
