Thanks for your input.

The atty's I have scorch on the first draw, no matter how long I let em rest.
Thanks again.

#1 thread at the moment. Same here. 3rd day with the 510.

What I`ve noticed is:

-the melting carts (from the tilt atty) -Already fixed - no longer an issue.
-burning tastes means the atty needs more liquid (no matter what method I use). The problem here is that if I drip this might happen within 2 drags (I NEVER take drags longer than 3-4 sec)...very strange. It just vanishes.

I`m just patiently waitfing for someone to solve this as the 510 on the other hand is really a great PV - nice vapor, throat hit, no sensitive sensor issues.

Cheers

as you already know the 510/dura's run hot and the liquids don't taste the same as with a penstyle. i had 3 out of 4 of my 1st set have the same problem as you. i ended up leaving full carts on them and put them away.when i decided to give the remaining atty a break i noticed they had improved .i believe they are slow to wick initialy also this model is a liquid hog and needs to be topped off often .

yes the 510's like to stay moist. storing the atty with the cart is a good way.

when topping off, it looks like they're juiced up (or even pool), but if you pull the cart filler, you'll see it's really dried out many times. It fluffs out like a cotton ball to let you know it's crying for more juice. With darker juices, it may look juiced, but it's commonly dry to the bone.

I have no problem sucking mine dry. That's about the only time I notice a pre-burnt flavor when i first start to draw. Tells me I need to top off. Don't let the pooling on top fool you into thinking the cart is full. All that does is juice up the atty and you'll have to dry smoke it down.

If draw is hard with a cart, chances are the wick is moist > dry smoke the atty and you'll get a ton of vapor. Then just top off your cart and back in business.

Just a thought... Maybe the cart filter is not letting enough liquid soak into the atty while you vape. You might try using the straw method in the cart. Sorry, I don't have the thread link that describes this but ti's basically putting a small coffee stirrer in with the filter. The straw is tapered at the mouth end of the cart to allow for airflow. It does improve both the liquid and air flow, allowing the atty to stay moist for longer periods. It also makes it easier to refill a dried out cart.

This is what I`m about to try next. Just having trouble finding those straws...

But I don`t think that the problem is the that filter is not letting the liquid soak in the atty. I suppose the atty`s just a juice monster or something else is wrong...

Here.. when I stared typing this I topped two drops on the filter and started vaping and as I`m about to click the submit button I need to top up again.... I took maybe 5-6 drags :-x

I`ll try the syringe right now...
