I'm not a heavy vaper by any means. In the space of a week I only used about 5 tanks of juice with the 510-T atomizer. But just tonight as I was vaping I started getting a terrible burnt taste and noticed the juice inside of the tank was turning brown. I pulled the tank out to see what was happening. The little pin that normally sits at the bottom of the atomizer that pierces the tank was stuck in the tank as I pulled it out. The heating coil below was exposed.

Obviously there's no way to fix this as the wicking material has been shredded.

This bums me out because I really had high hopes for the 510-T system. Normal atomizers last me more than a month. This one lasted only a week. Guess I'm going back to cartomizers.

As far as I know, Joyetech doesn't make a banded 510 T atty.

I'm pretty sure the banded atties from Joye are only made for standard 510 atties. I think you've got a clone there.

Many vendors have a DOA return policy- you should see about replacement.

The posters above are probably correct... Regardless, it is not a lost hope. The piercing needle and associated wick can be put back down into the atomizer tube and should slightly wedge back into place. It also is possible, if you have some wick, to replace the wick in a similar fashion as to what people do with the eGo-T atomizers. I just took a look at the 510-T I got from Liberty Flights, and it is NOT banded like that. It came from the kit they sell as a Joye 510-T, which has been wonderful. Also the spares I got are not banded like that. I however do know that joye makes regular 510 atomizers (not the 510-T) that is banded... so I would contact the vendor, it's your opportunity to find out if the vendor you got it from is stand up or a waste.
