510-T atty tough to draw after boiling....

I've boiled this atty several times this week, soaked it in alcohol, mixed in some dry burn, and it's still tough to draw. This is my second 510-T atty that I've owned (this one is about two weeks old), but the first one (about a month old) is still going strong. Any ideas? Is this a sign that it's on it's way out already?

Check youtube for the wick adjusment and cleaning video for tank atties. Hope this helps. It helped me to turn one into a decent dripper by removing the piercing plate.

I've checked out a lot of videos, and nobody seems to be doing anything different outside of a few unconventional techniques. As a matter of fact, since posting this, my good atty has lost a bit of its luster as well. They also both get very hot. Should I really be having to clean these things on a daily basis? It seems like every time I clean one, it's lifespan shortens by just a bit.
