510-t problems and leaking

Hey guys, i recently bought a Joye 510-t and i realized that the tank keeps leaking. Im using a 60%VG 40%PG liquid.

Is it suppose to happen? Also how often should i clean the atomizer and how do i clean it? Is there a way to clean the leakage on a tank? I'm very new to this and have no idea whats going on

Someone should be able to give you some tips on helping with the leaking. Thats why I dont like eGo tanks, they can be finicky and leak. I recommend trying some cartomizers. They are a lot less of a hassle to use. For a slim ecig you want to use Standard resistace, like the Boge 3.0ohm cartos. Bigger battery PVs(450mah+) can use SR or low resistance cartos, like Boge 2.0ohm, Ressurector 1.7ohm, or 1.5ohm dual coils, and quite a few others

So theres no way i can fix a leak and also clean out the tank? And how do i clean atomizer and how often do i need ot clean it?

That tip won't fit the tank on an eGo ..... it goes into a carto/atty. I have one on my clearomizer right now!

How much leaking are you getting? I use the tanks and don't notice any untill I pull the tank off, then there is just a teeney bit down on the spike.

If your leaking is coming from where the atomizer and battery meet, you can unscrew your atomizer and pull out your cartridge weither its a tank (egoT has no filler) 510 tank has a filler material in it. Take your atomizer and place a paper towel under the end that you screw onto the battery and blow out the other end to get any excess liquid out of your atomizer. It may have overfilled with a shipping lubricant or something. After you blow out the excess, you will catch it with your paper towel. Inspect your tank and see thngs look normal screw your atty back on and insert the tank , give it a second to get some liquid back down in your atty and try to vape and see if that doesnt help. On the drip tip you were looking at if you have the 510t that has the filler material in the tank you would remove that a you do when you change out your cartridge and instead the drip tip sits down over your atomizer. If you go this route you only need to drip 4 drops at a time on the atomizer and vape.

Yes you can reuse, to lessen the chance of leaks I would use a syeringe if you have one to fill in the middle that is already been pierced from the atomizer instead of pulling the end cap off

I dont think im using the EGO, im using Genuine Joye 510 Starter Kit - Matte Black

Basically it only leaks when i pull out my tank and i realize that its all over the atomizer, and every time i pull it out for awhile, it will drip out and be inbetween the atty and the tank (outside). It feels so messy thats why i wanna know how i can clean out the atty.

Will that driptip i mentioned 510/901 Aluminium Drip Tip (whistle tip) - Vapebar work with the cartomizer i mentioned Boge 510D Soft Top Cartomiser.

If i buy both will it stop the leakage?

Hes talking about the one I have joye 510-t. The cigarette style one. My tanks don't leAk at all. Don't pop end caps off to refill. Use a syringe to fill with liquid.

Hmmm are you putting on the prefilled cartridges that came with it? Why are you pulling out the tanks if they are not empty? the drip tip would work on the cartomiser that you have linked. Have you checked to see if you have liquid sitting on your battery part when you unscrew your atty? If you do take a paper towel and wipe that off. Some cartridges come with a shipping tank, it looks just like the other tanks but doesnt have any filler inside (looks like cotton) Im wondering if you have put eliquid in that tank since it looks just like the one you should be using. If you dont see any filler (cotton) change tanks. If you continue to have a problem with leaking I would think you may have a bad atomizer. Did you get a kit that came with two batteries, attys? If so have you tried the other set to see if it leaks as well?

Yeh i do use a syringe to refill, i take out the tank, flip it to the side that i dont 'suck' on and i put a synringe in there to refill it

Some cartridges come with a shipping tank, it looks just like the other tanks but doesnt have any filler inside (looks like cotton) Im wondering if you have put eliquid in that tank since it looks just like the one you should be using.

i dont understand what you are talking about....what cotton? whats a filler?

is the tank clear so you can see how much liquid you are putting in? I know with some tanks if you put your fingers on the vent holes that are where your atty and battery connect it can cause it to leak and usually when it starts it will just leak out all your liquid.

I gave up on ego tanks cuse the leaked or got clogged all the time. I think you should give cartomizers a try.
Cartos taste way better IMO and I have had zero leaking problems. and they're only a couple bucks. they don't last as long as attys are supposed to but when the start to taste a little funny, toss it and use a new one. my friend left his joye 510 slim at my house and it leaked on my table even when not in use

Btw can i wash atty's with water? or will it damage it

You can wash them out. Take note the end of the mouth peice can pop out and that will cause leaking. If you dont snap your tank all the way in, that will cause leaking and you will get alot better flavor from a carto or by getting a 510 atomizer and drip tip.
