A lot of the early complaints about the 510-T have involved two things: the fact that it has a stiffer draw than what many want or expect, and the overall size of the tank. Both of these are valid and while I didn't mind the draw the fact I had to refill the tank about once an hour was kind of irritating yet forgivable.

That's when I noticed these:

They're billed as the "510-T XL Tank," and I should point out these are not made by Joye; in fact, I'm not sure who makes them. I ordered mine from Digital Ciggz (who I should note delivered them relatively quickly via first class mail, three days), but they're available from a lot of places. A Google search for "510-T XL" (without the quotes included) will point you to several vendors.

They're approximately 40% larger than the standard 510-T tank, and feature a whistle tip as opposed to round. That was a small disappointment to me as I prefer the round tips; I hate having to re-orient the tank to compliment the button placement on my mod. Nevertheless, I ordered five to try out.

They make a world of difference. The airflow channels are slightly larger, the interior doesn't seem to trap liquid near the top quite as much, and the tank itself is significantly bigger. It's not in eGo-T territory, but it can easily support me through heavy-to-moderate vaping for two hours, maybe more. And the draw is a bit looser . . . it's not a windtunnel, but I can feel myself exerting less effort when I inhale.

On the down side, they stick out a little farther than the regular tanks. It's not gigantic, maybe around an extra 1/4 inch, but it's noticeable. Still, not a dealbreaker. As of yet there have been no leaks and no bad taste, but I only just received them today. If that changes, I'll update, but it doesn't seem likely. The end caps seem pretty secure and simple enough to take off and put back on, but as with all tanks I'd recommend refilling with a needle-tip bottle or syringe.

If you wanted a larger tank or an easier draw on your 510-T, these are definitely your solution. Lots of places have them and they're priced about the same as the normal 510-T tanks . . . but I've only found them in white/clear, so take that as you will.

Hope this helps!

wow u must vape alot if u vape a whole 510 tank once a hour the normal 510 tanks hold .8ml and one will last me all day do u know how much the XL tanks hold? I know the Ego tanks hold 1.1ml and they have a bigger tank that will hold 2ml of liquid. I too dont like the whistle tips plus with them being longer I dont think they will fit into my PCC heres my little setup with the regular 180maH 510 manual battery's and a 510 tank atty with the regular size tanks.

My kit came with carts but didnt like always refilling them to not get a nasty burnt taste! I was about to give up using the 510 till I tried my buddy's ego-t and loved it so I got a tank atty and some tanks and have loved it since!! Now I got me another tank atty to match my platinum battery and a blue one as a spare. I now know that I love the tank setup so much that I will never go back to smoking!! Been over a month since I have touched a cig! I hear alot of people complaing the tanks leak and flood I have never had a flooding issue except when i thought u need to prime tank atty like a regular atty LOL. i have had a tank leak on me i have discovered when u pull the tanks out of atty the piercing needle pulls the cap off the tank a little, so I now just simply push on the cap with finger after I take the tank out of atty to switch tanks. I haven't had another tank leak on me since!

I use a small crochet sewing tool to stick in the cap hole that the atty pierces to pop my caps of then just fill with the bottles with there dropper tops not hard to do. Theres no reason to count drops as u can see through them to know when they are full, and I dont have to mess with a needle sucking juice in and then squirting out in tank. U can also use ur finger nail and get the cap off but the crochet tool works awesome, (especially since I keep my finger nails real short). My buddy didnt have one, so he used a small nail to pop the cap off. I now gave him a crochet sewing tool he likes to use better then the small nail. I also use it to take the mouth piece apart too to clean out the tanks as my crochet tool is a very small diameter he uses a paper clip for his since the crochet tool I gave him is to bigger in diameter for that small of a hole.
