510 tank carts on regular equipment?

Hey all... is it possible to use the 510 tank cartridges on a regular 510 atty? What about the standard 510 batteries? I have a bunch of them and don't want to buy a new special battery until they die. Will the regular batteries work just as well with 510-T attys?

FYI - I tried to search the forum for an answer first, but the search feature seems to be not quite working.

The tank and tank carts are a system and must be used together. The 510 tank system can be used on any 510 battery or most any battery for that matter with 510 threading.
