510 thread...are they interchangable?

Hi! I am totally new to the e cig world. I bought a TecECig about a month ago, solely because I didn't want to smoke real cigs anymore. And I haven't. I bought the one I have because it was readily available, convenient to get supplies, and I didn't know of anything else.

The thing with the tececig is that it is ridiculously expensive for replacement clear tank things. Clearomizers, I suppose they're called. $10 for ONE! Add in the juice, and holy cow! I'm looking for an alternative tank. The sort I prefer is the Flare kind. It has 8 wicks I think, 1 mL capacity, and the mouthpiece is the same width as the whole tank. It says it's 510 threading...does that mean I can pick up any tank so long as it's 510? I really like the design of this, but I really don't care for the price.

I tried to do a search, but I didn't see any answers that I understood. Forgive me, I don't know all the terminology.

Hoping someone can direct me to a better option. Thank you in advance!

Yes, any 510-threaded head should work if the TecEcig is 510 threaded.

You can also get a 510-ego adapter, and use any ego-threaded tank.

I suspect, however, that you will want to upgrade your battery before too long, though...

I think the battery is actually going bad as we speak...just not getting the same strong hit as I did at first. I'll take suggestions on that as well

Try a mini Kanger evod, mivi vivi (need beauty ring), or a Ce4+/Ce5. All rebuildable with replaceable coils..cheap! and a great vape. You can find all of these on www. Try ebay if you are limited to few local shops that rip your head off. Peace.

Actually, do you have the manual type or the automatic type? Do you press a button, or just inhale on it?

If you have the automatic type, other heads may not work because the head might bypass the airflow you need to turn the battery on.

Lithium batteries factory charged, let them go all the way before charging. How many mah you have?

My personal recommendation would be the Innokin MVP. Since you have been vaping for a bit and seem committed, this is the way I would go.

Another good choice would be a dual kanger evod kit (I'll try to find a decent link and add it here in a bit).

I change my 1.8 out about once a month. I vape about 1.5ml per day.
