I have been using the 808 threaded smileomizers on the variable V V4L batteries for many years. I pick up a variable wattage mod the other day and was wondering: Can you use a 510 threaded smileomizer on a variable wattage mod and if so what would you typically set the wattage for?

Does the 510 threaded smileomizer come with the Ming Vase tips or are they the cigar type tips?

Hmm, good questions. I can't help with the question about using 510 smileos on VW batteries.
I looked at the 510 smileos on the V4L website, and I am confused. The individual 510 smileos were all shown with the cigar tips, but the 510 VV & dual mode kits show the smileos with ming tips.

Of course they do sell the ming tips separately @ $1.25 each, or I am guessing you can take them off your 808 smileos and replace them onto the 510 version.

Hopefully someone can swing by and answer your first question.

Thanks for the information. I did hear directly from V4L and this is pretty much what they said: Wattage for the smileomizers should not exceed 10W. It wasn't clear to me if the 510's ship with ming vase tips or not but it was clear I needed to request them if I wanted to be sure I got them. Thanks again.
