I've been using my first Vapor4Life Smileomizer for the last 6 weeks. That's right, a single Smileomizer has lasted me 6 weeks, and is still going strong.

Granted, it has not been used as my all day vape. However, I've put just over 40ml's of V4L 12mg Premium Rum & Cola e-liquid through it. I even let it sit full of liquid for a week, picked it up, and resumed vaping without issue.

I do not clean cartomizers, so I haven't cleaned the Smileomizer either. I want to see how long it will last just using it.

This particular Smileomizer rings out at 2.6ohms per the trusty Fluke, which is within the normal operating range for these devices.

Flavor is superb! Very much on par with some of the higher end Fusion cartomizers currently on the market.

Vapor production is fantastic! Large, full, plumes of vapor with every draw. A warm, pleasant, vape. Not at all hot or cool.

Construction of the Smileomizer is also very good. The surgical grade silicone tip covering a slender metal tube, makes for a very cigar-like experience. The tip is quite large, so it could be a bit uncomfortable for some. This oversized tip is usually good for me, but I do find it a bit too much at times. V4L states that replacements for these tips will be available for purchase in the future. I would like to see some variety in shape and size for the Smileomizer replacement tips, to allow for a more comfortable all day vape.

The Smileomizer works perfectly with all of my other V4L devices, and presumably anything else with KR808D battery connections. Using a 510 to 808 adaptor to connect to other mods has proven troublesome for me, as air flow becomes restricted. I was able to tinker with the setup a bit to get it working, and the Smileomizer soldiered on!

Filling the Smileomizer is much easier for me than traditional cartomizers, thanks to its size. Of course, if you prefer using syringes to fill, it's the same experience you're used to, just more liquid ;)

While a list price of $14.95 seems high, longevity and performance makes the Smileomizer a great value! V4L does offer these at reduced prices periodically, making the choice simple for me.
Overall Grades:
Style - A
Performance - A+
Price - A
Function - B
Compatibility - C

There are a few mods if you are interested.
Mr. Morandir reported that the whistle tips from the mega cartos fit on it and see post #14 in this thread for another idea:Smileomizer tips

Although for all the trouble, unless you are into modding I'd say wait. These are just good options if you already have a smileo and want to make it more comfortable.

great review!! i have been looking into trying one of these (the name "smileomizer" alone, of course, always grabs my attention haha), trying out some more of the hardware v4l has to offer. you say "The Smileomizer works perfectly with all of my other V4L devices, and presumably anything else with KR808D battery connections." and i was just wondering if there was/is a specific setup/battery/&c you "prefer" to use with these, especially as far as the v4l hardware goes? thanks! again, great review!

Thanks for the feedback. I really appreciate it!

I believe the Smileomizer was developed for use with the new Vapor Zeus. I do not have one of these yet, but I hope to soon!

My evaluation was done about 75% on V4L Manual DAV XL (1300mah). That particular setup is a little on the long side, but functionally great! Here's a photo:

I did the other 25% of the evaluation on a 510 mod with a 510 to 808 adaptor to observe compatibility.

For my tastes, I think it would look better with the Auto DAV, and I think the Smileomizer/Vapor Zeus combo is just sexy!

EDIT: I did try the Smileomizer on a TitanXL manual, but that was unremarkable...only puffed it a couple of times and moved on. It fit perfectly though!

great info! i had been wondering about any possible issues using these with 510 to 808 adaptors (using them with non-kr808d battery connection devices/batteries) as well as using these on the titans - very useful! still on the line with the price, but your review helped me out with everything else!! thanks again!

Im using mine with an adapter on a winder and its working great... one of the reviewers on v4l's site claimed to be having problems with airflow, but no problems here! I know depending on where you get the adapter from, some of them are solid and some have a hole in the center post as well as vent holes on the sides like mine.
The performance on it thus far has been great! Ive also pumped about 40 mls through it and still hits like a champ.
I usually use t3's or ce3's as bottom coils are far less likely to have a dry hit... unfortunately they also have a cooler vape so a vv device is needed to crank the heat up a bit... The smileomizer has yet give me a dry hit (I use it between 4.2 & 4.6 but still very respectable even at 3.6) and it is very easy to notice the amount of vape quality drop when it gets low on juice... well in advance of burning... and the ease of filling these put them in a class by themselves. I could go on a bit longer, but I need to get my smile on!:D
