510 top cap HICCUP !!! ohhhh no

Ok well my 5 star employees just informed me today that we are out of 510 top caps !!!!!
I have them on order but they will not be here for 14-18 days !!!

I am talking to a local machine shop about making me 50 of them for the time being, I am waiting on a cost and delivery time ,

Anyhow if you have a order in for a Buzz with 510 top cap we are OUT OF THEM right now .

I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused ( trust me I read them the riot act ! ) we are human after all.

I will keep you posted on the local parts !!!

Well maybe even to a fault we keep our customers informed and up to date about issues and our inability to tell the boss about low stock !!!!!!!

Dang it Mike! I should have told you. I was looking at them for several days and saw that you only had 2 in stock. I thought that you would not normally want to be that low. No issue for me thoufgh since I use 808s. Just thinking about getting one in case I want to use a 510 atty after reading where you said the adapters have caused issues with the Buzz. We will all be OK waiting for the top cops. I just feel so darn lucky to have my Buzz!

Well I appreciate that Salem ! but as a business this type of thing should not happen ( hell I have been in MFG for 17 yrs !! DUHHH ) it is a new product for my company so some issues are expected .

Ok the 510 top caps will be here today or Monday latest !! they are a new design and change the look of the Buzz ( we tried a new design ) it has a MUCH bigger juice well and has a smoother look.

You need to program that into your home page that if the count reaches a certain level to alert you. Just a thought.

You know you are going to end up redoing the bottom cap to match the ‘art nouveau’ look of the new tops, first you’ll go into you ‘industrial’ mode and think function over form, no other changes. Then the artist will take over and you’ll figure out how to match the bottom cap in form without adding more than a gram or two of brass and still be able to sit it up, but don't think about that now with a purple polar bear, not now

Well they will be here on Monday , Ya we were trying to sexy up the Buzz ,I get a lot of " that thing is UGLY
or it is too industrial etc.

It is different than everything out there , I have not seen a curved top area just angled cones .

Just curious if you got those plain aluminum tubes for polishing? I want a second Buzz for back up, I get nervous every time I drop this one.
Second question, would it be a very long wait for the VVPV instead?

I do have the plain alum tubes in stock , the VVPV is a few weeks off , we have molds to make and PCB tests being done so most likely 6 weeks
