510 vs. 810 vs. 910 vs. 401

Hi everyone,

I know the answer to this can be found in other areas, but I wanted to ask the question here. The reason being Canadian vendors carry either the 510 or the 810/910. I think that is what most of us use here in Canada also.

So which one gives the best vape?

Is the 510 the newest model soon to replace the 810 & 910?

*I hope this thread doesn't get moved, because I would like to hear from Canadians like myself, who deal with the same vendors*

hard to say, i only have experience with a 510...most will suggest the 510, though some say it kills flavor & they prefer a 901...others say the 510 gives them more flavor than the 901...at that point, i lost interest hehe...

I'm a huge fan of 801..almost a year of vaping and tried all 3 of them!
The 801 has double sized cart for far more liquid, it's also great with either hi-volts like Prodigy or 3.7 batt mods..I honestly find the small carts of 901 or 510 very fustrating , having to refill or drip all the time! I can fill that 801 with almost 12-16 drops with the PTB and vape nice and quiet for quite a while..
If I had to choose between the 510 and 901 , prefer the 901 for taste and slightly larger cart..I got the 510 and rarely if ever use it

I have the 901, 510, and supermini. The 901 is definatly my little workhorse. dont even touch the dust covered supermini. The 510 is good too but like u said I find the taste better in my 901. Prob w/ the 901 is the atts dont always produce the same amount of vape. it takes a little playin around to get them working good sometimes

For me, the best vape hands down is the 801 at 5v+. Still lots of flavour and massive amounts of vapour. Next would be the 901 which is like the 801's little brother. Most of the vapour and a bit more flavour. I like the size of the 901 and use it most of the time unless I'm in the mood for the bigger 801 hits.

The 510, as a dripper, did not work out very well. The throat hit and vapour were excellent but with much less flavour. The problem is it alternates between burning taste and a mouthful of juice with annoying frequency.

The 401 is rock solid and works really well at lower voltages but it gives less flavour than the 901 so I've converted over.

Keep in mind that all the above is based on full time dripping, the experience of cart users will differ.

I started out liking the 401/402 after my Njoy Npro, then switched back to the npro, was getting poor vapour out of the 401/402, new att, new batts, didn't matter. Then switched to the 901's and love them, whether I am using the 901 manual, automatic or 901 atty in one of my screwdrivers.

Although I'm pretty much a dedicated 510 user, I've recently found that the PTB mod REALLY made a change in flavour and vapour production with my unit. It was like night and day in satisfaction.

I'm tempted to try it with my M401 Ultra just to see.......

Keep in mind, I also enjoy DIY'ing and with the added VG and flavour strengthening its been quite pleasant lately.

PTB makes a HUGE difference with the M401, btw. I don't think I have ANY polyfill in any cart.

Got the ultra's last week M401 they take time to get them started but when you do they rock with the best of them. Small like an anolog good vapour. The only thing is if you are chain vaping it can get annoying having to refil or drip every little while. It is perfect for me since I found myself chain vaping with the 901. (I am trying to get rid of an addition not add another one). LOL

Quick update...I'm vaping a 510 at 4.4v on a mod that prevents current sag and what a difference. The 510 is putting out massive amounts of warm soft vapour.

I have to retract my previous opinion....the 510 can be a really amazing atomizer even with dripping.

I like each of them for different reasons. I like the flavor of the 401. It works good. I like the flavor and vapor of the 801. I like the 510, but after awhile I get the burnt taste, which I don't like. I use the 801 the most, because I have a pass thru for it. I have never tried a 901.
I want to step up to something that takes all the adapters and so I won't have to change batteries all the time. I want it to taste good/flavor with no matter what I use, put out lots of vapor, take different sizes of batteries, sealed so I can drip, look stylish, have a comfortable button, maybe have a led or option to install one.
I have 4 possibles, that I am thinking about. Saving my money for one.

totally LOVE my 901 ..

i used to get stuff from e puffer. he had a MAGNUM. which was really cool cuz it was a cartomiser. lots of vape .. etc etc etc ...

however, his customer service sucked, so i didn't go back to him.

i wouldn't mind trying one of the e cigars tho .. the idea of surrounding myself with vape is very appealing ...

Tried both the 510 and the 901 and ya the 510 vapes way more but the flavors lacking. My buddy has the 510 (got him hooked on e-cigs when I got my 901) and he flies through liquid.
