I've been using the 510 for over a week and have to say that, while I like the manual switch, I get much more vapor and a more enjoyable vaping experience out of my RN4072.

For reference purchases, I got both e-cigs from the same place and they are both knock-offs. Perhaps I just got a really good 4072 and a really bad 510 but I don't get the tons of vapor from the 510 that people keep talking about.

On another note, I noticed fibers coming out of the side of the atty on my 510. They seem to be attached. Should I pull these out? Is that the reason it's not performing as well?

I too have both the 4072 Penstyle and the 510. Neither are knock-offs.

I LOVE my Pen ... HATE the 510.

I know I am in the minority, but I find the constant cart filling to be nothing less than incredibly annoying. Takes away all the pleasure of the excellent vapor production. I can deal with short battery life. I just do not at all enjoy the refilling that is required. Way too much effort invloved for a heavy vapor like myself.

To be hoest, my favorite PV is my E-Cigar. I have no idea why the Cigar does not get more attention on ECF. It's a fabulous unit with large carts and long baterry life. I use both the Cigar & the 4072 all day/every day. I have a tobacco blend in the Cigar and a flavored juice - usually coffee in the Pen.

On the rare occassion that I want a fruit flavor vape, I will use the 510. About one small cart is all I ever want of a sweet or fuity vape. So at those times, the 510 works for me. Other than that, it's the Cigar & Pen combo goin for me.

You're not the first to mention these fibers. I haven't seen any on mine yet so I cant comment. I *did* however remove some cart fibers from my atty. The cart fiber is very coarse in the 510. More so than others. I'm wondering if this is what folks are talking about.

There is another thread in the Tech Forum that mentions these fibers too.

Cheers;
