510 with kr808d-1 cartomizer WOW

I got my kr808d-1 cartomizers and adapter for my 510 yesterday but didn't have a syringe for filling. I went online today and found out how to fill without syringe and went through the procedure. The e-liquid I got with it was vg and very thick which also concerned me but in the refilling video I watched he also had thick liquid which made me very happy. The difference in vaping is phenominal. I can't believe how much more vapor and flavor I get. I'm so exited and pleased I can't understand why joye 510 didn't do it this way in the first place. It's GREAT!

I agree totally with ya 5cardstud.
Been using the adapted kr8 for a while now. The first carto I used for 10 days, until it got really hard to draw and took too long to heat up, the second went for six days then just quit. I'm still on the 3rd one on the 6th day and its working well, this is an excellent alternative give a good break from the usual routine.I can see continuing to alternate between the two going forward.

For me 510 stuff is what I have the most of and use all the time. i.e. mega batteries,tornado batts, and passthrus. A $3 adaptor lets me utilize what I have just for the cost of cartomizers.

I think I'm using the wrong type/brand adapter. Playing with 808 cartos on my 510 batts is like trying to siphon molasses. That, and all my cartos are prefilled with DK's MLB-High (not my fave).

Those of you with success adapting, where'd you get your adapters?

I'm using an adaptor and cartoms from E-cig Multi Adapters - Wholesale & Retail Best E-smoking Supplier and that works fine.
I'm using a 14500 mod with a 510 fitting and adaptor. 11 days so far with 5 in rotation.
The metal does get hot - 901 mouthpieces fit on the end though which also makes refilling easier.

Maybe you got a 901 adapter,if so,you can drill a hole in the base of the threads for airflow.use a dremel and a tiny bit.I did it and it worked great!

I got adaptors,and blank (empty) cartomizers from goodprophets.com. They work really well smooth light draw. I also have read somewhere that some adaptors have an adjustable draw by screwing inside part in or out but I have'nt actually seen or used one.
