I just bought a Joye 510 last Friday, and got it Saturday. I smoked one analog Saturday, because both batteries were on the charger, and I smoked one last night, to see if the difference was as extreme as I thought.
I love this thing. I'm having no cravings for tobacco cigs, and I'm feeling better already. I'm coughing less, and I can smoke all the way through a movie without having to ask my family to pause so I can run outside and cancer up.
One thing I'm seeing is that I'm running through my juice a lot faster than I thought I would. I'm using 18ml juice, and hitting this sucker basically all day long. Not having to sequester myself to smoke means that there's no need to take smoke breaks, which means there's no reason not to vape continuously. I think part of the issue is that the 18ml juice isn't really kicking in, and I'm wondering if I should try 24ml or just be happy I'm not smoking? I smoked Lucky Strikes (no filters) or full-flavor Winstons up until last weekend, and when I smoked one last night, I felt that buzz that I haven't had since Saturday.
Also, my batteries don't last for a damn. I haven't gone to any parties yet, but I'm planning to be away from home for about four hours this Saturday, and I'm pretty sure both batteries will die in that time. I'm probably going to pick up a PCC in a week or two. Would that allow me a little more portability?
Another question is about refilling the cartridge. I've only opened one cart since I got the thing, and just keep putting more juice in it when the vapor gets low. Should I be going through cartridges?
I'm ordering more atomizers, because from everything I've read, they tend to fail. I have a backup that I haven't used yet, but my worst-case scenario is running out of supplies before I have replacements. I guarantee this would lead to a stop at the gas station for a pack of cancer sticks and a cheap lighter.
My juice is weak, flavor-wise. I have apple and bourbon, and the bourbon doesn't taste like anything, and the apple only has some aftertaste. Neither one is like inhaling flavors. Those are the only two I've tried. Are there stronger flavors that I can actually taste?
Now and then, especially when the vapor is low, it's burning the back of my throat a little. It's still nicer than the feeling of inhaling glass shards I get with an analog, but is that normal? Do I need to do something to ease that, or do I just get over it?
Last question. Every now and then, a little fluid is leaking out of the PV, right between the cart and the atty. It's not much - not even a full drop - but I have to be careful where I put it down. Is that normal? Is the cartridge too loose? Am I looking at long-term damage to the PV itself? I don't think it's leaking into the battery. Am I overfilling the cart? If I don't fill the cart, I can't get enough vapor for a good throat hit, but I don't want to waste the juice and ruin the PV, either.
