I everyone,

I just received an order of three 510LR atomizers, but when i tried to use the first one, I noticed that it tasted burned

( I'd squonked and then checked that it had enough juice inside). When I hit the firing button it had the sizzle/gurgle like my other,( some different brands) but burnt tasting.

I then noticed that the inside bridge was very close to the inside top edge , so i held the driptip on the outside, where it would approximately rest on the inside and it looked like it would actually rest right on the bridge of the attie.

Some atties come either bridged or debridged and when given a choice I choose the bridged, and I haven't had this situation before.
The bridge on these three are also very wide.

So my question is: did I receive bridge or bridgeless atties?

Gotta go to town in a min., so I'll be back in a few hours.

If you can't directly see a ceramic cup and coil then it has a bridge. You can always debridge the atty, did you blow out the primer? Whenever I get a new atty with primer I always soak it in vodka (or PGA) I personally don't trust primer because I have never really heard definitively what Chinese atomizer primer is made of.

Sammy, i blew it out well, as I do all my atties that have primer in them..The issue is that the drip tips sit right on the bridge.

I have not enjoyed those which I have gotten from different vendors. In every case the draw was too tight for my liking. Still haven't found an atty I like as much as Cisco's....a drilled out io6 might be as good but too much work and not any cheaper.

EDIT: @ Tripp

Why do you call it a dripping atomizor? I have gotten unsealed ones just like that for bottomfeeders.

So, I called the co. that i bought these from, and the short version is that they're 510's, but " just a different style".
So I could just debridge them or use a pair of tweezers to push down on the bridge.
Or I could pay to ship them back.
I get really tired of co.s that sell defective merchandise and then it costs the buyer MORE money to resolve the issue.

I'd thought of trying to debridge them , which I've never done and probably would have destroyed them, and at 9$ a piece
I wasn't going to go there.

So I wound up shipping them back with a note that I'd appreciate a full refund or credit.

I'm just too damn old to put up with being messed with.

So now I'm going outside to play in the dirt ( that always calms the savage beast, lol)
