hey all, i just got a new 510LR atty for my drip tip setup - how should i get it setup the best way? i took out the wick from under the bridge, but i'm wondering if i should take the wick material out of inside the coil too? should i take the mesh .... off of the bridge? what about taking the bridge right out? i drip only onto these atty's, so i want it best for that

how should i prime it? should i dry burn it to get the crap off it or what should i do?

kind of in a hurry to start using this, thanks!

I'm new to this too, so I don't know what a "bridge" is, but when I used to drip (because I could never get stand-alone atomizers and cartidges to work) I just dripped right onto bare coils, and used a hollowed-out cartridge for a stem, with a drip tip on it. No absorbent material involved anywhere. Worked fine for me.

I don't think I'd run it dry; I'd just go with dripping onto it and gently running it until all the funny taste goes away. maybe not even inhale the first 20 puffs or so. YMMV. Good luck.

I have been vaping for 2+ years and only Direct Drip using Genuine Joye LR 510 atomizers.. The first thing to do is blow the new atty out... You want to remove all the primer e-liquid... put 3 drops of your e-liquid on it, vape a few hits, blow it out one more time to clear it ... Put on 3 more drops and you should be good to go... I tried removing the bridge and wick once, it did not make any difference in performance... I would leave the wick, mesh and bridge in since it helps with keeping your coil wet. Also to keep your attys working at their peak,,, You should blow them clear a few times a day... Keeps them much cleaner that way, no need to ever soak them.... I usually replace mine every 3-4 weeks, even if an atty still works it will loose it taste and perfomance over time........
I do recommened using only GENUINE JOYETECH atomizers... I have tried others but they just dont seem to work as well as the JOYE 510.

Wow now I really confused. LOL I've been trying to use 510 atty's for tasting juice and it has been a horrible experience.:grr: I tried with the SLB that came with the Kgo. The 3.0hm that came with the LT as well as a few I bought to try and every one I have had the same issues. It either tastes burnt or it floods and gurgles. I would say maybe I'm not doing it right or it just takes time to learn but I have don it many many times. I mean at least 100 times, probably more. I have even tried debridging them. They also leak all over mt lavatube batt connector. What the heck could I be doing wrong. Yes I dripped 3-4 drops took a puff and added more. I've also tried everything else I could think of. I can kind of taste the juice but not nearly as good as in a standard Boge carto and the flavor always stays in the atty. :( Especially after testing 10 flavors I can taste them all a little so I have no idea what the juice I'm testing really tastes like. So how can you not clean them between juices? There has got to be a better way. I've seen atty's i have considered buying such as the i06 from Ikenvape, the 306, 801 or 901 and even the hybrid. I don't mind spending more but I need something better. I'm making DIY juices and this is just not working. Any help would be greatly appeciated! :)

just from my knowledge, it sounds like you are putting wayyy too much fluid in. i do know that you should get at least 3-8 puffs, depending on how big they are, out of 3-4 drops. usually what i've been told is to puff on a set of 3 or 4 drips, and go until you are JUST starting to get a kind of crappy flavour, then add a few drops of the new one, puff that until the flavor starts going and add some more of the same one (the second one you are trying) and this time you will get almost only that taste. if you are still getting some of the first one, you can always take it off and give it a good blowfrom the mouthpiece side into a kleenex but usually i haven't needed to do that
